| Kether: To the Qabalist, Kether is the True Domain of God - the point of Unity within which the polar opposites of Binah and Chokmah - and of all the universe - are combined in a single glorious convergience of Eternal Energy upon the Pillar of Balance at the very top of the Tree of Life. Kether is represented by the number 1, and was the "True Heaven" to the ancients. But the Domain of God will not allow the entrance of impure things; its great purifying Fire 'cleanses' all those who pass - cleanses them of their denser, more unpure bodies. So if one still has work to do on the lower levels (including this one!), one must resist the urge to merge with the point of Kether until ones work here is completed - only then will the aspirant be ready to finally give up the lower self to the Eternal Glory of God... |
