text layout, font selection, header/footer layout (this package does not include
editing).
2) We create appropriate cover art, front/spine/back - complete with ISBN

3) We submit digital files to third party P.O.D. printing bureau.
4) Includes comprehensive U.S. online distribution (Amazon.com, BarnesAndNoble.com,
Ingram, Baker and Taylor, etc.).
5) Inclusion in Ingram Advance catalog.
6) 20 paperback copies for your own purposes (reviews, friends and family…).
7) We provide a digital info packet that will give you some very good, cutting-edge
marketing strategies to help you with your long-term goals.
Enhanced P.O.D. - Average price $1,400:
1) Same as above, but with the inclusion of book editing. Pricing is dependent
upon length of book (and time necessary for editing).
Offset Publishing - Average price $11,000:
1) Includes all above services, but substituting offset printing for P.O.D.
2) Typically includes 5000 printed paperbacks.
3) This is typically the only model that can be used to get your book physically
into the major brick-and-mortar booksellers like Borders and Barnes and Noble
(because of the fact that the wholesale discount these companies require is
greater than that required by online retailers).
4) Pricing is dependent upon many factors (length of book, book format, editing
requirements, quantity of printing, etc.).
5) Warehousing / fulfillment is typically an important issue with this publishing
model.
