Kindle Conversion Services

 

Here at Ten Gates Publishing, we can quickly and efficiently convert your book to the Kindle format so you can start selling your book on Amazon Kindle right away (selling your book on Amazon Kindle has no upfront cost, and also happens to be the very best method of free advertising for your book!).

Simply supply us with your manuscript in just one of the following formats: Microsoft Word, PDF, HTML, Open Office (Microsoft Word is preferred, for several reasons - but not absolutely necessary).
We will first convert the document to HTML, then we'll add all the necessary HTML tags to create a hyperlinked Table Of Contents for easier reader browsing (we'll also add a 'start reading here' tag). We will then add pagebreak tags after each section and/or chapter.

Once this is done we will do another conversion, this time from HTML to PRC - a .prc file is the file type that Amazon needs in order to start selling your book on Kindle; once this is done you can upload your book to Amazon and have it selling within roughly 24 hours! (Books in the Kindle format are not only for people with Kindle readers - Kindle books can now be read on any desktop/laptop/tablet computer, on most smartphones, and even on some portable music players!)

Our basic Kindle conversion service is $150; turnaround time is usually only a day or two for Kindle formatting (if no editing is needed or desired). We can also create the cover art for you if you need, at a cost of $75 additionally. And if you need help setting up an account with Amazon, uploading your book and getting it on the open market we can also do all this for you for an additional $75. (Although we're a publishing company, we will never ask you for a percentage of your profits, or for any rights to your intellectual property whatsoever!).

Ten Gates Publishing are also offering, for a limited time, free PDF conversion with all Kindle conversion orders; this means you'll receive two files back - one Kindle file and one PDF file (while Kindle is generally the best format for eBook readers and other portable devices, PDF formatted books tend to look better on PC and Mac desktop computer screens). We are always available to do PDF conversions of your book, but we will do this for you for free for a limited time, after you place your Kindle conversion order!

We accept Paypal payments (this means you can pay with a credit card or direct debit through Paypal.com, the largest electronic payment gateway in the world).

You can email us your book, and/or any questions, at kindle@tengates.net; you can also leave us a voice message at 775-221-0865 anytime (we'll return your call within 24 hrs, if not the same day). If you're ready to order a conversion, simply send us an email with your book file as an attachment (along with cover art if you have it), and request a Paypal invoice. We will send you an invoice asap, and as soon as your invoice is paid via Paypal we will have your conversion ready usually within 48 hrs (often the same day!), and either email it to you or email you a download link.
