The Tree of Life is the ultimate singular image to the Qabalist - it is a picture which represents as simply as possible the Ten Kingdoms and how they are interconnected by the Twenty Two Paths. However, the Mandala is not perfect, as the true Kingdoms and Pathways are multi-dimensional - they overlap one another and are intimately intertwined. A two-dimensional illustration could never be adequate as an accurate representation of the universe (not even a three-dimensional one would!). But for the general purposes of the pliable student, the Tree of Life goes farther than any other singular picture in showing the basic structure of Life - it is well worth studying (accompanied with the appropriate literature alongside it, of course...)

I created this particular version of the Tree of Life when I was asked by someone about the colors of the aura, and what they meant. Again, it is impossible to illustrate such complexities in full, but this version gives a reasonable idea of how different colors correspond to different levels of existence (the correspondence is due to the nature and frequency of energetic vibrations - this would also suggest a correspondence with sound). We on Earth are focusing on our existence in the lowest dimension, called Malkuth in Qabalistic literature. The numerological correspondence for this level is 10 - the Tenth Kingdom. As a being ascends upward in life, the levels increase in spirituality, but decrease in both numerological association and physical density (physical density is inversely proportional to spirituality).
